I desperately need to find the matching settings here. On macOS, there is not much to configure in the native VPN-client. I have tried so many different settings on the RV260, but none seem to match the settings on macOS. However, I have the requirement to use L2TP/IPSec or CiscoIPSec for the VPN-tunnel, but here I am lost. So the RV260 is reachable from the internet-side of things. I also managed to get OpenVPN to work and connect to the same internal website, after removing the port-forwarding rule. I was able to access the website running on that internal macOS-client via the public-ip of the RV260.
To verify this, I configured port-forwarding for http-traffic to another macOS client behind the router. The RV260 has a public ip-address and is reachable over the internet. Today I spent the whole day and tried to get a macOS client (built-in native VPN-client) connect to my brand-new RV260 via VPN.
